Reiki Healing - a gentle return to balance
Reiki is a soft yet powerful practice that helps body, mind, and spirit come back into harmony. It offers deep rest and renewal, and can be especially helpful in times of stress, transition, or when you simply feel the need for extra support.
Reiki is a Japanese method of energy healing that supports the body’s natural ability to restore itself physically, emotionally, and mentally. The word Reiki means “universal life energy,” and in a session, this energy is gently channeled through my hands to create a space of calm, balance, and inner clarity.
By offering both traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, as taught through the Reiki Alliance lineage, and Usui Shiki Ryoho Holy Fire® energy, I bring together the best of two worlds — the deep roots of an authentic Japanese healing tradition and the higher vibrational frequencies of Holy Fire®. The Usui system provides a grounded, time-honoured foundation focused on balance, harmony, and the body’s natural ability to heal. Holy Fire® adds a refined, deeply soothing energy that supports release of stress, emotional blockages, and old patterns — often experienced as a gentle warmth, light, or sense of peace. What to expect in a session
Each session begins with a short conversation to help you settle and answer any questions you may have ahead of the treatment. If you like, set an intention for your session. You’ll then lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table, wrapped in a blanket for comfort.
The session unfolds in stillness, and there is no need to take an active part or speak during the session. I place my hands lightly on or above different parts of the body, moving from head to feet. Experiences of Reiki differ, and some people feel warmth, tingling, or even waves of energy passing through their body; others simply rest deeply. As the breath softens, the body releases tension, and the nervous system finds space to reset and reconnect.
As the session comes to an end, there is time for you to share any reflections you may have as a result of the treatment. Many people describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more centered. It is not uncommon that the effects unfold for days after the treatment, like a quiet thread of balance you carry into daily life
